Our accredited veterinary nutritionist, with 30+ years of experience in small animal medicine and clinical nutrition, formulates tailored diets prepared in our kitchen with human-grade, high-quality ingredients.

Various meal plans can be chosen that are hypoallergenic, rich in essential nutrients and customised to your cat's specific needs.

We add ingredients that are sensitive to high temperatures, such as: oils, vitamins, minerals, taurine, carnitine, when meals are at room temperature and ready to be packed. Our handmade meals are minimally processed to maintain the quality of the ingredients.

We create moist handmade meals for cats, this is important as cats tend to drink less water than other animals, due to the Feline species obtaining most of their hydration naturally from the prey they eat. This results in cats having a weaker thirst drive and engaging in small, frequent sips of water, rather than large gulps. Factors such as a moist diet has an influence on how much water a cat consumes. A significant drop in water intake can result in serious health problems, such as chronic urinary tract infection (UTI), urinary crystals and stones, due to their highly concentrated urine. 

Our meals for cats also contain 10% of nutritious crunchy, dried handmade food particles that require chewing. The crunchy texture is both pleasurable for cats and beneficial for teeth cleaning. Literature recommends exposing young cats to different food textures to prevent texture preferences that will result in fussy eating habits and limit future diet options for cats.

Varieties of meals

For healthy cats: All essential minerals and vitamins, essential amino acids and fatty acids, DHA, EPA, antioxidants and prebiotics are included. Other essential nutrients and herbs are professionally chosen to fight inflammation of skin, allergic reactions and to give strength to organs and tissues. We take in consideration your cat's breed predispositions, activity status, food allergies, immunity weakness and personal taste preferences.

For cats with health issues: We might require information from your treating veterinarian on medical diagnosis, recent test results and list of medications your cat is currently on, to provide our Vet Nutritionist with all necessary details for creating the most effective formula.
